Glow worm cave admission ticket + lunch (chicken / beef  burger with fries)

The caves consist of two large chambers interlinked by tunnels. The first chamber is the "presentation cave", where you will be shown an audio visual display on the glow-worms. This chamber is complete with very realistic formations (speleothems), such as stalagmites and stalactites, water features and flow stone. From this stunning cave, you will be guided through the magical "glow-worm cave", filled with thousands of glowing glow-worms!

David Fleay Wildlife Park

The park plays an important role in demonstrating the conservation initiatives of David Fleay, who established the property in 1951. Fleay became the first to breed platypus in captivity, and was ahead of his time in insisting that birds and other animals should be kept in conditions similar to their natural environment. The naturalistic enclosures you see today reflect that now widely held philosophy. The park continues Fleay's work of research, breeding and education, giving visitors the opportunity to see many threatened native animals in one location.

Stroll through natural habitats and visit the nocturnal house to see some of Australia's most iconic wildlife! You'll meet crocodiles, koalas, emus, brolgas, dingoes, dunnarts, bilbies and kangaroos, along with the resident platypus, Wally. Explore the park on your own or join the Park Rangers during their daily wildlife shows.

Spot koalas, pademelons, dingoes and rock wallabies as you stroll along boardwalks that take you though many different natural habitats and pathways that lead you through shady rainforest and tall eucalypt forest settings.

Discover the near-threatened Lumholtz's tree-kangaroo, adapted for life in the trees instead of the ground. They often rest in the forks of branches, so take a closer look—you'll be surprise at how well they are hidden.

See an amazing variety of Australian birds including magestic wedge-tailed eagles, noisy lorikeets, graceful emus and and elegant brolgas.

Spy on our ‘rainforest gardeners’, endangered southern cassowaries (pictured) from the rainforests of North Queensland, busy spreading the seeds of rainforest fruits in their dung.

Take a close look at one of the oldest and most successful predators on the planet—the crocodile. Discover the differences between freshwater and estuarine (saltwater) crocodiles from the safety of the boardwalk that leads you through the park's wetlands.
